Premier: Ukraine will return traditional market outlets for its products in CIS countries

This was aired by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting today. «The long-term pause in the relationship, which was artificially created by the previous government, did not benefit our countries».
«We should make up for lost time, return traditional markets of domestic energy, transport engineering, instrumentation, pipe industry and agro-industrial sector products,» Azarov underscored. He also noted that economic processes in the CIS countries are gaining growing importance for Ukraine. The prime minister added that the market of CIS countries accounts for more than one third of foreign trade, the market is rapidly growing, particularly last year the trade turnover among the CIS countries increased by 36%.
