Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasts agrarians to attract UAH3.5-4 milliard preferential credits for 2005 spring sowing

Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasts agrarians can attract UAH3.54 milliard preferential credits for carrying out of springtime field works and stipulates partial compensation of credit rates at State Budget cost, reported Yuriy Luzan, Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy.
«UAH3.54 milliard preferential credits will be attracted,» said Luzan.
Luzan remarked, in 2004 agrarians attracted UAH10.3 milliard credits.
As earlier reported, Cabinet decided 2005 budgetary compensation can be provided only to those agrarian companies which attracted short-term credits with yearly interest not over 21%, long-term credits not over 20%.
2005 Budget stipulates short-term and long-term credits rates compensations correspondingly UAH100 million and UAH120 million.
In 2004 Cabinet was paying off compensations to those agrarians which had
attracted short-term credits with yearly interest not over 19%, long-term credits not over 21%.
