Russia Exports 2.8 Million Tons of Grain, Products Since July

Russia exported more than 2.8 million metric tons of grain and products since July through Aug. 3, most of which headed for Turkey and Egypt, according to data from the Russia’s Grain Quality Estimation Center.
The center is supervised by Russia’s food safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor and certifies grain and products’ shipments abroad. The exports to Turkey amounted to 560,100 tons and another 492,900 tons went to Egypt, according to the report published on Rosselkhoznadzor’s website today.
Some 212,600 tons went to Kenya, 193,300 tons went to Israel, 192,300 tons were shipped to Italy and 106,500 tons went to Azerbaijan, according to the report.
