PepsiCo named to Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index

In recognition of its continued global leadership in economic, environmental and social performance, PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP), one of the worlds largest food and beverage companies, today announced that it was named for the third time to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and for the fourth time to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI North America).
The DJSI World identifies those companies that exemplify leadership in sustainability among the leading 10 percent of the worlds top 2,500 companies. The DJSI North America identifies those companies that exemplify leadership in sustainability among the largest 600 North American companies. Launched in 1999, the DJSI is the first global index tracking the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.

Of note, the World Index reported that PepsiCo held the leading score in risk and crisis management, code of conduct/compliance, corporate governance and brand management.
