Cabinet imposed upon agrarians quotas of grain selling to State Reserve and Regional Resources

28.07.2004 11:35 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Cabinet has set up quotas for agricultural producers as for selling of this year crop’s grain to State Reserve and Regional Resources, reported Cabinet’s press-service. "Chiefs of districts’ agrarian administrations have compiled lists of agricultural producers, which are to sell, due to recently established quotas, a part of their crop either to companies belonging to "Bread of Ukraine" or State Reserve, or to regional operators", - says press-service’s report.

There were no other details reported. As to Cabinet’s representative, agricultural producers will be "fixed" to certain grain storing company (situated not over 50 km away), to which they will have to bring their grain.

"In case, however, if elevator is situated over 50 km away, Cabinet will compensate transport expenditures at rate UAH50/t", told Ivan Kyrylenko to journalists.
