South US Farmers Talk Corn

The one thing I really noticed about it when it was harvest time was the size of the ear, the size of the kernel, the color of the grain is a lot brighter, it’s shinier, waxier, darker orange color and at the end when we were picking it the tickets were coming back with the test weight and the test weights were 62, 63 pounds, one hopper in one load was 64 pounds, versus the standard 56.
