Within 2009 agrarians grew milk/dairy products sales up 8.7%, to 1.994 mn MT

Within 2009 agricultural companies have risen milk/dairy products sales to 1.994 mn MT, up 160,000 MT (+ 8.7%) against 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.
As for 2009 milk/dairy products sales structure, companies have sold 92.6% total milk/dairy products to processors.
As to report, 0.4% milk/dairy products were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries.
As to Committee, 1.9% milk/dairy products were sold on markets (5.1% — through other trade channels).
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in 2008 agrarians had sold 1.834 mn MT milk/dairy products (down against 1.845 mn MT in 2007).
