Ministry of Agrarian Policy to monitor oil products’ market

Ministry of Agrarian Policy has decided to carry out constant monitoring of oil products’ market in order to control fuel’s supply and prices’ dynamics, in particular as for diesel fuel, reported Viktor Slauta, Minister of Agararian Policy. As to him, Ministry of Agrarian Policy has decided to begin monitoring fuel market after fuel prices had started growing, in order to help agrarians, in case of necessity, to purchase enough fuel for harvesting. Diesel prices, having grown up 4-6% within late Apr - early May, by now equal to UAH2000-2180/t. Since this year begin average wholesale diesel fuel prices have risen up 18.8%. As to Ministry of Agrarian Policy’s experts, this year agrarians’ diesel fuel demand is 1.9 million tons, including ~ 0.6 million tons needed for spring sowing.
