Dutch Ulysses North Management D.V. is going to purchase Bielkozin

Dutch investment company Ulysses North Management D.V. is going to purchase over 50% shares of Prylukskiy Bielkozin Plant (Pryluky, Chernigiv region), specializing in albuminous sausage casing production, and has already received Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee’s Permission, reports Antimonopoly Committee’s press-service without giving any additional transactions’ details. Belkozyn is the only Ukrainian producer of albuminous casing for sausage products. In late 2000 British Cape Tower Investments acquired 52% shares of Bielkozin, having firstly purchased 22% shares from Bielkozin’s former owner (his name wasn’t disclosed) and then 30% shares from natural persons. Bielkozin’s monthly output is about 13 million meters sausage casing. Bielkozin assures functioning of half domestic meat industry’s producers, selling them 50% of its total output, while 50% output is exported mainly to Russia, Romania and Brazil.
