Within Feb Obolon has grown output up to 4.5 million dl (+26%)

Listed among 5 biggest Ukrainian beer and beverages producers, brewery Obolon (Kyiv) has grown Feb output to 4.5 million dl, up 0.93 million dl (+26.1%) as of Feb last year, reports Obolon. As to report, within Feb brewery has produced 3.1 million dl beer, 1.4 million dl soft drinks and mineral water. Obolon’s Jan-Feb output totaled 8.8 million dl, with beer output amounting to 6.2 million dl, up 0.9 million dl (+17%) against Jan-Feb last year and soft drinks and mineral water output reaching 2.6 million dl, up 29.8% as of similar last year period. Obolon’s 2003 output totaled 61.1 million dl, up 4.3 million dl (+7.1%) against 2002. In 2003 brewery produced 44.4 million dl beer, up 14.2% as of 2002. Brewery’s most well-sold brands are Obolon Light beer and Zhyvchik soft drink Ukrainian beer market’s capacity is estimated 150 million dl annually.
