As of this year Apr, Ukrainian Agrarian Fund has sold 5,842 MT flour due to plan of State interventions commissioned to Fund by Government in order to stabilize country bread prices, reported Volodymyr Ivanishyn, Agrarian Fund General Director. As to Ivanishyn, Fund has been selling highest grade flour at UAH1,910 per MT (1 grade flour – UAH1,782 per MT, 2 grade flour – UAH1,528 per MT). Ivanishyn said Fund is expected to sell in total 167,960 MT from State Committee for Material Reserves (State Reserve) until this year Jul 1. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within this year Feb Cabinet had commissioned State Reserve/Agrarian Fund to launch flour interventions for large-scale kinds of bread production. Flour from State Reserve was expected to be sold until this year Jul 1 in order to be used only for production of large-scale kinds of bread (i.e. bread loaves weighing 500 gr. and up) as having highest regional consumption share.
