20.08.2007 08:43 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The States committee on material reserve has cut time for storing grain in the state’s reserves from 4 to 2 years to spare costs for grain storage and preserve its better quality, reads the decree of the state’s reserve and the agrarian ministry of July 27, ¹241/539, registered with the Ministry of Justice on August 9, ¹922/14189. As to Agro Perspectiva earlier report, state’s reserve proposed such initiative in July 2006. According to the legislation, the state’s budget allocates UAH 2.5 for storage of 1 ton of grain monthly at grain enterprises; however the committee has hefty liabilities to the enterprises for grain storing. In fact, storing of a ton of grain costs UAH 6-8 monthly.
