Iran modernizes the national flour-grinding industry

04.05.2007 12:24 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — With 2005 is conducted preparation of the project of the advanced flour-grinding enterprise of the western region of the country which will settle down in province Nurabad, transfers(transmits) " Iran news ".

The designed capacity of this enterprise makes 150 thousand t flours(torments) in a year. Directly at this enterprise it will be borrowed(occupied) more than 50 chel. Within the limits of this project near to the enterprise 45 thousand t should be constructed by grain elevator capacity. On construction of all objects of this project 2–3 years is required. Financing of this project is supposed on the basis of cooperation of local population and the enterprises of the adjacent industry.

According to project head Sakine Lyak, coordination are necessary and they should be carried out in acceptable time limits. For example, the ministry of agricultural jihad IRI should allocate a constant quota of wheat for maintenance elevatora and the enterprises with grain of necessary quality, and the ministry of the industry and trade IRI should solve questions of definition of the general contractor and the order of purchase of the special equipment at the Iranian and foreign enterprises according to requirements of the project.

Now the general contractor is certain. It(him) is the state trading company of Iran.

S.Lyak has confirmed, that a designed capacity of the enterprise, considerably above needs(requirements) of province Nurabad which population 153 thousand chel makes all., but also, this province is not one of the large centers on manufacture of wheat. As she said, the project is calculated on processing of grain of several next provinces. It will stimulate development of manufacture of local firm grades of wheat.

Earlier it was informed, that in 2006 Government IRI has started to carry out the complex program of translation(transfer) of the national baking industry on a real industrial basis. Within the limits of this program there is already begun construction of modern grain factories. It is supposed, that the flour-grinding industry also will be modernized.

Government IRI is compelled(forced) to go for such strict measures since annual state grants in an agriculture, the flour-grinding and baking industry are estimated tens billions US dollars, and their efficiency and quality of ready bread very low. Acknowledgement(confirmation) of it(this) are greater(big) waste of ready bread which on-line in each province gather and in the form of crackers go on a forage to cattle.
