China: raps for mitigation of an energy crisis

Development of manufacture rapsa as raw material for manufacturing biological diesel fuel has not only the direct attitude(relation) to the decision of problems of power and preservation of the environment, but also plays an active role in increase of economic efficiency of agriculture and increase in incomes of peasants, the employee of Institute of olive plants of Academy of agricultural sciences of China professor Khuan Fenkhun has noted.

Considering global deficiency of energy carriers and a question of the future power safety of the state, director of Institute of olive plants Van KHanchzhun as early as in 2005 has initiated to develop manufacture rapsovogo biofuel and to create in China inexhaustible " a green oil field ". For this purpose the Chinese experts make greater(big) efforts increase of the maintenance(contents) of oil(butter) in rapse and to development of technologies of transformation rapsovogo oils(butters) in biological diesel fuel.

By means of the newest genic technologies in China the area under crops rapsa has increased in 4 times, total gathering rapsa — in 13 times in comparison with 60-ìè years of the last century, and China became the world’s largest manufacturer of this olive culture.

China — the world’s largest manufacturer rapsa. This plant is the main olive culture in China. Rapsovoe oil(butter) makes about 50 % from market volume of food oil(butter) in the country. The general(common) area under crops under raps in the country makes nearby 7 million in hectares, annual total volume of manufacture — 13–14 million t. These two parameters make almost 30 % from the general(common) world(global) volume.
