According to press-service MSKH of the Russian Federation, on March, 2627th in Ottawa Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexey Gordeyev has taken part(has participated) in the Russian-Canadian business forum within the limits of which there have passed(there have taken place) VI session of the Russian-Canadian intergovernmental economic commission and the second plenary session of the Russian-Canadian business advice(council).
Having noted the significant progress reached(achieved) for last 5 years in the field of bilateral trade relations, participants of a forum have confirmed important role MEK in assistance to development of multiplane and long-term economic relations between Canada and Russia.
As a whole, in opinion of co-chairmen MEK Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexey Gordeyev and minister of international trade of Canada David Emerson, the sixth session of the Russian-Canadian intergovernmental economic commission has passed(has taken place) successfully.
Besides co-chairmen MEK have noted useful character of a discussion of the questions taken place during a business forum, a concerning(touching) trade szhizhennym natural gas, cooperation in development of nuclear power and manufacture of hydraulic power. In final document MEK signed by A.Gordeyev and D.Emerson the satisfaction in occasion of " significant promotion of Russia on a way of connection to the World trading organization " also is expressed. " The full membership of Russia will serve in WTO the important factor of liberalization of world trade, and will stimulate expansion of bilateral Russian-Canadian economic interaction ", is spoken in the joint statement. On March, 27th Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has met the prime minister of Canada Stephen Kharperom. A.Gordeyev has transferred(transmitted) the prime minister of Canada the message of the president of Russia. " It has been apprehended very positively ", it(he) has emphasized, having added, that " during a meeting has been declared, that Canada is ready to more active cooperation with Russia ".
In opinion of the chapter(head) of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, " interest of our countries to each other will accrue(increase) in the course of time, and that we are large players of the world markets of renewed and not renewed natural resources, obyazyvaet us to coordinate the actions to bring the maximal benefit to both countries ".
" At Russia and Canada absolute similarity both in advantages, and in the problems, a concerning(touching) surplus of natural resources, both countries enter in ten on their stocks ". " In this part we could cooperate actively, using the Canadian technologies and an operational experience in the international markets.
