Belarus: facilities(economy) have started sowing flax
29.03.2007 11:32 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Facilities(Economy) of Belarus have started sowing flax, the assistant to the general director of Republican association «Belagroservis» George Artyushkevich has told, transfers(transmits) BELTA. As he said, it(he) is conducted selectively with facilities(economy) of the Brest, Gomel and Mogilyov areas. poseyano already more than 90 hectares. Optimum terms of mass sowing of this culture come since April, 15st, it(he) has emphasized.
Artyushkevich has noted, that in 2007 crops of flax will make 69 thousand in hectares, 60 thousand t is planned to make flax fibers. For facilities(economy) of the main raw zone the Vitebsk area still recently needed to replace 500 t bad quality seeds. Such reserve have found in facilities(economy) of the Minsk, Brest and Gomel areas. Now selkhozorganizatsii are completely provided by own seeds.
Besides for lnoseyushchikh facilities(economy) of Belarus in 2007 it will be in addition bought(purchased) 115 t high-quality seeds of flax from the best European firms-suppliers. The tender is already lead. Due to elite seeds of a facilities(an economy) expect to increase productivity of flax, to raise(increase) quality of a made fibre.
In 2007 on a share mekhotryadov lnozavodov 60 % of the cultivated area 42,4 tys.ga are necessary almost. For reequipment mekhotryadov and modernization lnozavodov within the limits of the program «Flax» in 2007 it is allocated 21,5 billion Belarus roubles. Due to these means seeders, lnouborochnye combines and the process equipment for lnozavodov are got energonasyshchennye tractors. Before sowing a facilities(an economy) and lnozavody, cultivating flax, mineral fertilizers and means of protection have received.
However, despite of this oshchutimuyu state support, a financial position lnozavodov remains very complex(difficult). The general(common) creditor debts for the last some years has increased up to 143,8 billion Belarus roubles, for January, 1st, 2006 it(she) made 117 billion Belarus roubles. Debitorskaya the debts has made 13 billion Belarus roubles, including delayed 11,7 billion Belarus roubles. Including the debts to the enterprises of light industry makes 4,5 billion Belarus roubles and 3,5 billion Belarus roubles accordingly.
Somehow to correct a financial position lnozavodov, minselkhozprod republics suggests to increase procurement prices of raw material. In due time, per 20052006 to raise(increase) competitiveness of the Belarus flax fiber, there were reduced prices for it(him) for 30 %. As a result, though the volume of export of production has increased, profitability lnozavodov has sharply decreased and has made a minus of 35 %.
Per 2007 minselkhozprod republics has directed the petition to Ministry of Economics RB to lift procurement prices of a flax fiber even on 20 %. However experts(auditeurs) have come to conclusion, that rise of procurement prices while is impossible.
Now on a foreign market the raised(increased) demand for a flax fiber is observed, and Belarus lnozavody are ready to offer foreign consumers a qualitative long and short flax fiber. But to sell it(him) under below cost prices, at a loss, they cannot, Artyushkevich summarized.
