In Latvia the price for bread has grown

As transfers(transmits) IA «Tatars-inform», the Ministry of Economics of Latvia has acquainted the population of the country with the next data of a condition of the prices for the basic food stuffs. The prices for 9 various food stuffs for the period since June 2006 till March, 2007 were compared. The chosen products have risen in price all. It: bread, a dutch cheese, beer, doctor’s sausage, eggs, milk, sugar, mayonnaise and cake cheeses.
Especially the rise in price has concerned(touched) the main product — breads. Since March, 1st the 800-gramme loaf of rye bread costs(stands) already 0,64 lata (31,4 rbl.), that is more dear(expensive) on 30 % of the price of June, 2006.
It is necessary to note, that especial unexpectedness in this increase of the prices are not present. Back manufacturers of baking production warned 1,5 more years, that in connection with a rise in prices on energy carriers substantial increase of the prices is expected. " Bread has ceased to be the cheapest product, — chairman of board of the Latvian society of bakers Valdis Tsirtsenis makes comments on a situation. — For example, macaroni and other flour products today is cheaper some bread ". Economists assume, that once again cost of bread will increase after May, 1st when tariffs for gas will be raised(increased).
With a spring has come also traditional — seasonal — a rise in price of dairy products, the prices and for vegetables and greens have grown. The mite in the general(common) rise in prices bring and excise taxes raised(increased) by the government — on cigarettes, beer. According to the Central statistical management of Latvia, in February in comparison with January consumer prices in the country have grown on more than 1 %, and inflation for February has reached(achieved) 7,3 %.
