Ministry of Agrarian Policy controls companies granted with grains export quotas for grains availability

Ministry of Agrarian Policy have started inspecting whether companies which had received grains export quotas really have grain in stock, reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy representative. As to report, a number of Ministry experts (incl. Ivan Demchak, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy) have already left for regions to control whether elevators really have kinds of grains declared to be owned by export-orientated companies. Ministry representative couldn’t tell when inspection is to be finished. «We will continue inspecting for a week or perhaps even for a month,» said representative. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Ukrainian Government isn’t going to revise grains export quotas sizes (fixed until this MY (Jul/06-Jun07) end). As to Agro Perspective, Cabinet had established 1.106 mn MT grains export quotas (incl. 3,000 MT wheat, 3,000 MT rye, 600,000 MT barley and 500,000 MT maize) to be effective until this MY end.
