Ukrainian CCI ask all international trade associations to cease cooperation with representatives of russian trade associations

03.03.2022 11:21 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Open appeal from associations and enterprises of the agricultural sector and food industry of Ukraine to international sectoral agricultural and food associations and organizations

Ukraine has been subjected to an unprecedented military attack in the modern world by the russian federation. Our country is bravely defending itself, every person of the country is involved. And we, the food producers of Ukraine, are working at the limit of our capabilities, providing our population with food.

Lack of raw materials, disruptions in the supply of resources, shortage of energy, lack of labor, rocket attacks, logistics violations. However, our employees go to work every day, our drivers deliver the necessary food under fire. We, together with all the Ukrainian people, are aware of our responsibility.

An act of gross violation of international law and human values, order and good conscience demands appropriate responsibility.

We ask you, our international partners, to become a part of a conscious world that fights back against the murderers of civilians — a country that uses ballistic missiles to cover sleeping areas of our cities and towns, destroys civilian infrastructure, hospitals, kindergartens with hail shots, a country that has taken over the radioactively dangerous closure of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, threatening the whole world, uses vacuum and cluster munitions, outlawed by the Geneva Conventions, against the elderly, women and children, and threatens the world with nuclear weapons. This letter will not contain all the thefts that were committed only during the first days of the war.

Our friends, colleagues, partners!

We appeal to you. Do not stay away, support us and the whole world. You are able to:

Stop supplies to the Russian Federation:

raw materials and ingredients for food production,

agricultural machinery, equipment for the production of food and any parts and components thereof,

plant protection products, seeds and high-quality fertilizers,

genetic material for animal husbandry,

disable software support for the agricultural sector,

prevent the delivery of packaging.

We ask you to put an end to economic relations with your russian partners.

We ask all international trade associations to withdraw from their offices and cease cooperation with representatives of russian trade associations!

We understand your economic needs. However, please remember that the russian federation is using money for crimes against humanity.
