Cabinet/grain traders to create favorable grain export conditions

Cabinet jointly with grain traders wants to form favorable conditions for Ukrainian grain export, reported Cabinet press-service.As to press-service, in order to settle this problem Ukrainian Vice-Premier Andriy Kluyev has called meeting with country leading grain traders. As to report, Cabinet is going as well to sign corresponding Government/leading grain exporters memorandum. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, as of Aug 22, companies had concluded export contracts on Ukrainian exchange markets for this year crop grain 2.16 mn MT. Within early 2006/07 MY Agrarika Ltd experts had forecasted Ukrainian 2006/07 MY grains export would reach 10 mn MT (down against 13.3 mn MT in 2005/06 MY). 2005/06 MY (Jul05/Jun06) grains export had boosted to 13.3 mn MT, up 2.2 mn MT (+ 20%) against 2004/05 MY. As to various forecasts, 2006 grains crop may total 3540 mn MT. 2005 grains crop totaled 38.015 mn MT.
