FAO Chief, Spanish Queen discuss world foods problems

As of yesterday, within Valencia (Spain), the World Sustainable Urban Food Centre (CEMAS) was inaugurated, FAO reports.
As to the report, the event was attended by FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva, Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain (FAO Special Ambassador for Nutrition), President of the Generalitat Valenciana Ximo Puig, Mayor of Valencia Joan Ribó and other officials.
It is to be admitted, the Centre is chaired by Queen Letizia.
As to the report, on the sidelines of the CEMAS launch, FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva had a meeting with Queen Letizia of Spain to discuss joint collaboration within her role as FAO Special Ambassador for Nutrition.
Reportedly, they discussed the latest data released in the State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World report, which warns that more than 820 million people continue to suffer from hunger within the world while overweight and obesity continue to boost within all regions.
Reportedly, Graziano da Silva thanked Queen Letizia, an active nutrition campaigner, for her long-standing and high-profile support to global efforts against hunger and all forms of malnutrition, and for her commitment to help raise awareness about the worrisome rising levels of overweight and obesity, particularly among school-age children.
