11.08.2006 13:54 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
On 2006 crop grains purchase tender held by State Committee for Material Reserves (State Reserve) on Aug 8, Committee was offered just 27,000 MT wheat (3/4 classes) instead of earlier planned 100,000 MT, reported Olena Naumova, State Reserve Economic Department Chief. As to Naumova, within tender Committee had purchased 3 class wheat UAH760780 per MT (4 class wheat UAH670680 per MT). «State Reserve offers low purchase price for 2006 grain, that’s why wheat volumes offered on tender were so small. State Reserve will buy 2006 grain necessary volumes only if it raises purchase price,» declared Naumova. As to her, total amount of 3/4 classes wheat purchased on tender will be known after tender results final summarizing; State Reserve plans to hold next 2006 grain purchase tender on Aug 15. As earlier reported, State Reserve is going to purchase 400,000 MT new crop grain up to its 2006 Reserves Renewal Plan (with purchase to be finished in Oct).
