Cherkasy region agrarians have sown sugar beets at 68% total areas

As of this year May 3, the Cherkasy region agrarians have sown sugar beets at 7,300 ha,
Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Cherkasy Regional State Administration report.
As to the report, highest results have been reached within Zvenygorod district (the sugar beets sown at 88.3% total planned areas), Zhashkiv district (86.3%) and Monastyryshche district (75.2%).
As to the report, as of this year May 3, the Cherkasy region agrarians have sown spring barley at 38,000 ha (89%), spring wheat - 4,500 ha (80%), oats - 900 ha (84%), peas - 7,000 ha (52%), maize (for grain) - 221,000 ha (58%).
Reportedly, as of this year May 3, the Cherkasy region agrarians have sown total industrial crops at 206,000 ha (60%), incl. sunseeds - 180,000 ha (89%), spring rapeseeds - 1,800 ha (51%) and sugar beets - 7,300 ha (68%).
