Kazakhstan 2018 sugar import down 8%

As of 2018, Kazakhstan reduced sugar import by 8% against 2017, Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Sugar.ru report.
As to the report, Kazakhstan Dec 2018 sugar import was 40,660 (for US$14.09 million); as of 2018, Kazakhstan imported in total 416,160 tons sugar (for US$180.46 million), down against 452,430 tons as of 2017.
As to the report, as of 2018, Kazakhstan imported the raw sugar mainly from Brazil (131,190 tons) and Cuba (29,970 tons); white sugar from RF (145,360 tons), Belarus (76,720 tons) and Kyrgyzstan (16,270 tons).
Reportedly, as of 2018, the Kazakhstan Dec 2018 molasses import was 191,320 tons; as of 2018, Kazakhstan imported in total 10,070 tons molasses.
