Ukrainian canned fish output up 13%

As of this year Jan-Oct, Ukrainian processed/preserved fish, crustaceans and molluscs’ output has grown by 13% against last year similar, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food says referring to the Ukrainian State Fishery Agency report.
As to the report, in part., Ukrainian fish processors have produced:
Fish fillet (naturally dried, salted or brined (except smoked) 727 tons (up 23.4%);
Dried, naturally dried fish 3,298 tons (up 22.3%);
Salted herrings 2,607 tons (up 19.1%);
Salted fish (save for slated herrings) 1,745 tons (up 8.7%);
Pacific, Atlantic and Danube salmon (smoked) 388 tons (up 33.8%);
Smoked fish 3,932 tons (+ 0.5%);
Herrings’ ready products and canned herrings’ pieces (within vinegar, oil, marinade, tomato paste 2,237 tons (up 60.6%).
It is to be admitted, within this year Jan-Sept, Ukrainian ready fish export had grown 23% against last year similar.
