Ukrainian Gov raises alcohol beverages domestic prices

05.09.2018 22:18 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of today, the Cabinet has boosted the domestic market minimum wholesale and retail prices for vodka and distilled beverages by 12.4–19.6%; whiskey, rum and gin - by 12%; cognac - by 6,6–9,5% and wine - by 4,5–13,5%, Interfax-Ukraine reports. Thus, as to the Cabinet Decree, since now on the domestic market minimum retail price for a half-liter bottle of vodka is to be boosted by 12.4%, up to UAH89.4; minimal wholesale prices for vodka and distilled beverages are to be boosted by 19.6%. At same time, as to the Decree, the domestic market minimum retail prices for natural wines have been grown by 13.5% - up to 42UAH per 0.7L bottle ( fortified wines and vermouths - by 8.9%, up to UAH49 per 0.7 liter bottle; champagne - by 12.4%, up to UAH89 per 0.7 liter bottle).
