Trofimtseva: Ukrainian agricultural export to EU up US$145 million

As of this year Jan-Apr, the foreign trade turnover of agricultural and food products between Ukraine and the EU countries boosted by almost 14% against last year similar, having reached US$2.8 milliard; also, Ukrainian agricultural export to the EU countries raised by US$145 million against last year similar, having hit US$1.9 milliard, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food says referring to Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food on European Integration Olga Trofimtseva this week report.
«It is a pleasure to note the steady growth of agricultural and food products’ bilateral trade between Ukraine and the European Union. Today, the main import tariff quotas of the EU for Ukrainian honey, malt and wheat gluten, processed tomatoes, grape and apple juices, corn, wheat and flour have already been completely exhausted,» Deputy Minister emphasized.
As to her, as of this year Jan-Apr, total Ukrainian agricultural and food export to the all world countries amounted to almost US$6 milliard, with biggest share being taken by grains (37% total export), vegetable oils - 26.1% and oilseeds ( 9%).
