2018 sowing campaign: sugar beet sowing started

As of this year Apr 11, agrarians have started sugar beet sowing within Ukrainian 7 regions, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
As to the report, the sugar beet has been sown already at 13,000 ha (4% total planned 302,000 ha).
As to the report, now agrarians continue sowing early spring grains/leguminous crops within Ukrainian 20 regions; as of now, agrarians have already sown early spring grains/leguminous crops at 551,000 ha or 23% total planned.
Reportedly, agrarians have already sown:
spring barley - at 362,000 ha (23% total planned);
oats - at 21,000 ha (10%);
wheat - at 27,000 ha (15%);
peas - at 142,000 ha (34%).
As to the report, now the agrarians continue fertilizing their winter grains’ sown areas. Thus, as of this year Apr 11, agrarians have already fertilized winter grains at 5.5 million ha (75% of total necessary). Besides, agrarians have already fertilized their winter rape at 844,000 ha (84%).
It is to be admitted, within Khmelnytsky region and Volyn region agrarians have already completed their winter grains fertilizing.
As to the report, as to the regions’ operative data, now all the regions are provided with 638,000 tons of the spring plant seeds (100% of the total required). Besides, Ukrainian agrarians also have 1 million tons of nutrients and mineral fertilizers (101% of the total required).
