Agrarians have fertilized 29% winter crops sown areas

As of March 23, Ukrainian agrarians continued fertilizing winter crops (for grains) within 21 regions; agrarians have fertilized 2.1 million ha sown areas (29% total),
Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports.
Thus, in part., agrarians have fertilized:
winter wheat - 1.76 million ha (28% total sown areas);
winter rye - 15,800 ha (11%);
winter barley - 342,700 ha (41%).
In addition, winter rape has been fertilized at 376,700 ha (37%).
As to the report, monitoring of winter crops (sown for 2018 harvest) shows that the seedlings have appeared at 99.7% of all sown areas (7.3 million ha), with 87% (6.3 million ha) being in good/satisfactory condition, while seedlings’ condition at 13% (931,000 ha) sown areas is weak/rare.
Reportedly, winter rape was sown at 1.0 million ha, seedlings have appeared at 98.6% all total area, with 89% (890,800 ha) being in good/satisfactory condition, while seedlings’ condition at 11% (105,000 ha) sown areas is weak/rare. As to the report, the Ukrainian winter crops’ further state will depend on weather condition.
