State Statistics Service: Ukrainian 2017 export up 16.0%, import - 23.3%

Ukrainian 2017 goods/services export has grown to US$52.326.6 milliard, up 16.0% against 2016 (import to US$54.955 milliard, up 23.3%), Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service report.
As to the report, within 2017, Ukrainian goods’ export was US$43.266.6 milliard, import US$49.598.5 milliard. Against 2016, export has boosted by 19.0% (by US$6.904.9 milliard), import by 26.4% (by US$10.348.7 milliard). Negative balance totaled US$6.331.9 milliard (It is to be admitted, within 2016 negative balance was US$2.888.1 milliard).
Thus, the export/import coverage ratio totaled 0.87 (within 2016 0.93). As of 2017, foreign trade operations were carried out with partners from 223 countries.
As to the Service, within 2017, export of services was US$10.446.6 milliard, import 5.359.2 milliard. Against 2016, export has lifted by 5.9% (by US$578.6 million), import by 0.6% (by US$32.7 million). Positive balance totaled US$5.087.4 milliard (within 2016, positive balance was US$4.541.5 milliard).
Thus, the services export/import coverage ratio was 1.95 (within 2016 1.85). As of 2017, foreign trade operations were carried out with partners from 225 countries.
It is to be admitted, the data provided by the Ukrainian State Statistics Service exclude the temporarily occupied territories within the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and some parts of the Donbas ATO zone.
