State Statistics Service: Ukrainian economy sees growth 8 quarters in a row

Ukrainian economy demonstrates positive developmet dynamics the last 8 quarters, Government Portal says referring to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service report.
As to the report, within 2017 IV quarter the real GDP improved by 0.4% against 2017 III quarter (the data takes into account the seasonality factor).
«Against the 4th quarter of 2016, the boost is 1.8%,» the report reads.
As to the report, the positive dynamics are confirmed by the indicators of international trade. Thus, as of 2017, Ukrainian exports grew by 19% to US$ 43.3 miliard, while exports to the EU grew by one third. Import growth reached 26.4%.
As of 2017, foreign trade operations were carried out with 223 countries. Total exports to the EU countries amounted to 40.5% of total export.
