As of today, while speaking within a meeting on the issues of agricultural sector development, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said the Cabinet, in the framework of the implementation of objectives of the development of the agrarian sector, now improves agrarian sector support programs and enlarges the opportunities of agribusinesses, firstly by opening up access of farmers to available financial resources, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, Groisman emphasized that key areas of work are livestock breeding support, in part., building of new complexes and boosting the livestock population, targeted assistance of farmers, and support for agricultural machinery enterprises in order to preserve and grow the number of jobs in this area, as well as to provide farmers with high quality equipment produced in Ukraine.
«Within next few weeks, we have to launch support programs so that we could reach each farm in Ukraine and prove how to use the available resource,» the Head of Government urged.
«Thus, we will launch the mechanisms of real agricultural output support. But at the same time, we assume the responsibility of farmers for honest registration of land and cattle,» Groisman said, «It is crucial for us to keep up. All Government resolutions must be approved by the Jan end. Resources (to support) are sufficient.»
