Groisman assures industrial development to entail a 5% economic growth

29.09.2017 16:32 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of yesterday, while on a working visit to Kharkiv, and while opening the All-Ukrainian Conference «Strategic Directions of the Development of Mechanical Engineering in Ukraine: from Regional Initiatives to National Industrial Policy», Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman said industrial development within Ukraine, in particular within the mechanical engineering segment, will allow the economy to grow by at least 5%, Government Portal reports. «We are talking about steady economic growth, and it requires the development of domestic machine manufacturing, innovations. Hence, we must create greater opportunities for such development to be efficient,» he stressed. As to the report, Groisman accentuated that now Ukraine has a unique chance to enter the world market with its product. «Ukrainian export is boosting, the share of export to EU countries is growing as well. We engage in vigorous activity to expand product markets, and it is vital to ensure our machine-building industry to take a worthy place among leading industries, as here we observe positive trends,» the Head of Government said.
