Ukrainian delegation headed by Zubko on a visit to "WATEC 2017" in Israel

13.09.2017 12:31 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of yesterday, the Ukrainian delegation headed by Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Ghennadiy Zubko took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition-conference «WATEC 2017» within Israel, one of the world largest and most powerful within the field of water treatment technologies and water management, Government Portal reports. It is to be admitted, now Ukraine is interested in the experience of using modern technologies in improving the quality of drinking water, the level of purification and ecological safety of sewage, as well as introducing and promoting energy efficiency technologies. As to the report, within the framework of the «WATEC 2017», the Ukrainian delegation held a professional tour, as well as Vice Prime Minister G. Zubko met with Director General and Chairman of the Board of the Government Authority for water and sewage of the State of Israel G. Shaham and with the Minister of Economy and Industry of the State Israel E.Cohen. Also, Ukrainian delegation visited the Shafdan Wastewater Treatment Plant. On the results of the visit, it was agreed the involving of the Israeli side within the development of the Ukrainian new water management strategy, as well as its water supply and sewage communal services’ reformation.
