Tourist flow from Ukraine to Turkey up 33%, not to fall despite terrorist attacks

Within Jan-Jun 2017, a number of Ukrainian tourists who visited Turkey boosted by 33% against last year similar, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Association of the Hospitality Industry report.
As to the report, the Association experts expect within the second half of the year Ukrainian tourists flow will not decline despite terrorist attacks and bad weather.
«Within this year first half, 214,000 Ukrainians already visited Turkey, up 33% against 2016 similar. In addition, as of this year Jun 1, the agreement on visa-free travel of Ukrainian citizens to Turkey with internal passports in the form of an ID-card came into effect, which will promote further growth of the tourist flow in the second half of the year,» the report reads.
As to the report, the threat of terrorist attacks and the deterioration of climatic conditions will not affect the growth of the tourists’ flow from Ukraine to Turkey.
As to the earlier report, as of this year Jul 30, a group of unknown people had opened fire at a nightclub within the Turkish resort of Bodrum. There were no Ukrainians among the victims.
