Ukraine boosts agricultural export by almost US$2 milliard

Within this year Jan-May the Ukrainian agricultural export boosted by US$1.795 milliard against last year similar, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry report.
«The share of export within the total volume of the agricultural products’ foreign trade is 80.4%. The key export commodity groups are grain crops (38.1% of total agricultural export), oil (27.4%) and oilseeds (8.6%),» the report reads.
The Agrarian Policy Ministry enumerated the top ten export products: sunflower oil, maize, soy, sugar, poultry meat and offals, barley, soybean oil, chocolate, honey, vegetables, legumes.
As for the regional structure of Ukrainian agrarian export, the key areas remain: Asian countries (41.1%), the European Union (30%) and Africa (19.3%).
