Economy Ministry: Restrictions to be applied to grain, meat, dairy and egg exports within CUFTA

The tariff quotas will be applied to certain agricultural products shipped from Ukraine within the framework of the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA), including some cereals, dairy products, eggs, poultry and cattle meat, Ukrinform says referring to Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry press service report.
As to the report, Canada has the tariff quotas for, in part., import shipments of beef and veal, pork, chicken meat and derived by-products, turkey meat and derived by-products, eggs and egg products, chicken hatching eggs, dairy products, margarine and peanut butter.
In its turn, Ukraine has the tariff quotas for the import deliveries of frozen pork and salo.
Meanwhile, sugar was completely removed from the free trade agreement.
It is to be reminded, Verkhovna Rada had ratified the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement as of this year Mar 14.
