03.03.2017 13:21 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of yesterday, while speaking within a joint press conference with German Minister of Foreign Affairs Sigmar Gabriel in Kyiv, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin said five thousand new jobs had been created in Ukraine last year due to German investments, Ukrinform reports.
«As of today, there are one thousand German companies in Ukraine. Last year alone, almost five thousand jobs were created,» he said.
As to Klimkin, such a result shows the efficient work of not just bilateral cooperation, but of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Ukraine and the EU as well.
Besides, Klimkin also stressed that within the future the two countries will expand trade and investment cooperation.
