As of today, within the negotiations in Brussels, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has agreed
with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker that Ukraine will receive the second tranche of macro-financial assistance within the amount of EUR 600million within the coming weeks, Government Portal reports.
«This will be done in the coming weeks. I think that after we see the progress of Ukraine on the path of reforms, the Ukrainians have a right to see something in return,» Jean-Claude Juncker said while speaking within a joint with Ukrainian Prime Minister press conference.
It is to be admitted, the decision taken by the European Commission to disburse a EUR600 million macro-financial support is a proof of the high level of confidence in the Ukrainian Government and the Ukrainian Prime Minister, and is a tangible support for Ukraine within the time of tough challenges.
«These funds will be directed to the State budget of our country, and they will have a positive impact on macroeconomic stability,» Groisman noted.
