May wheat export down 8%, to 439,000 MT

May wheat export has declined to 439,000 MT, down 38,000 MT (- 8%) against Apr, reported Agrarika Ltd referring to May foods export-import operative data. As to Agrarika Ltd, within May companies were exporting wheat mainly to Italy, Bangladesh, Philippines, Tunisia, Egypt and Israel. As to report, this year May wheat export is up 116,500 MT (+ 36%) as of last year May. As to Agrarika Ltd, since 2005/06 MY (Jul/05-May/06) beginning companies have exported 5,973.900 MT wheat (up against 4,056.000 MT in 2004/05 MY similar). As earlier reported, this Apr wheat export had grown to 477,320 MT, up 108,970 MT (+ 30%) as of this Mar. 2004/05 MY (Jul/04-Jun/05) grains export had boosted to 11.075 mn MT, up 8.31 mn MT (+ 300%) against 2003/04 MY; within 2004/05 MY companies were exporting mainly wheat, feed barley and maize.
