UN Chief: Inequality growth creates “huge frustration” worldwide

As of last week, while addressing the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland), UN Secretary-General António Guterres said inequality has boosted around the world, creating «huge frustration» and discord between public opinion, political establishments and international organizations like the UN, UN Radio reports.
It is to be admitted, the World Economic Forum annual meeting braught together the world top leaders to engage them in debates regarding the global, regional and industrial agendas.

As to the report, Guterres began by presenting some of the challenges the global community is facing regarding its inability to prevent and solve crises.
As to Guterres, presently the interconnection of global mega-trends like population growth and the movements of people, climate change, water scarcity and food insecurity are creating tense situations and displacing more people.
