1 grade flour bread Jun prices up 0.5-22.3%, to UAH1.82-2.14 per kg in 7 regions

05.07.2006 12:11 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within Jun, 1 grade flour bread prices have grown in 7 regions to UAH1,82–2,14 per kg, up 0.5–22.3% against May and simultaneously declined in Lviv region to UAH2,06 per kg, down 1.4% as of May, reported Ministry of Economics.

As to Ministry of Economics, 1 grade flour bread Jun maximal (UAH2,14 per kg) prices were registered in Zhytomyr region shops, while minimal prices (UAH1,36 per kg) were registered in shops of Myckolayiv region.

As to report, within Jun wheat/rye flour bread prices have risen in 8 regions (to UAH1,64–1,88 per kg, up 1.1–14.7% as of May), while all other regions prices remained unchanged as of previous.

Jun wheat/rye flour bread highest (UAH1,88 per kg) and lowest (UAH1,17 per kg) prices have been registered correspondingly in Zakarpatska region and Myckolayiv region shops.

As to Ministry of Economics, within Jun highest grade flour bread prices have risen in 7 regions (to UAH2,14–2,54 per kg, up 1.4–15.1% as of May); all other regions prices remained stable.

As to report, Jun highest grade flour bread maximal (UAH2.58 per kg) and minimal (UAH1.89 per kg) prices were registered correspondingly in c. Sevastopol and Cherkassy region shops.

As earlier reported, within this May, 1 grade flour bread prices had grown in 8 regions

(to UAH1,76–2,07 per kg, up 1–26.1% against this Apr).

This May wheat/rye flour bread prices had risen in 8 regions (to UAH1,54–1,85 per kg, up 0.5–17.9% as of this Apr).

This May highest grade flour bread prices had boosted in 8 regions (to UAH2,08–2,52 per kg, up 0.9–13.9% against this Apr) and simultaneously declined by 0.8% in Zhytomyr region (to UAH2,51 per kg) and in Volyn region (to UAH2,52 per kg).

Experts estimate domestic bread market annual capacity 4–4.5 mn MT.
