Groisman: Ukraine will remain a reliable strategic partner for Poland

As of yesterday, while on his working visit to Poland to participate the 26-th Economic Forum in Krynica Zdrój, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman met with Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydło, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, within a joint press conference with Szydło following the meeting, Groisman assured that the partnership between Ukraine and Poland bears strategic character, therefore it is crucial to use existing opportunities to intensify bilateral collaboration.
Reportedly, he stressed that cooperation would continue in economy, energy sectors. According to him, Ukraine and Poland have the potential to cooperate in many areas, particularly in defense, infrastructure and cross-border cooperation.
As to the report, the heads of government agreed to intensify work within the framework of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, thereby allowing the countries to solve all urgent issues.
«By joining efforts, Poland and Ukraine will bring about positive results,» Groisman admitted.
«We have a challenging historical past, we have good and friendly present, I strongly believe that we will have strategically important future together,» he said.
As to the report, Groisman confirmed the invitation to the Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydło to visit Ukraine.
«I want to assure you that Ukraine remains and will be a reliable strategic partner for Poland in the future,» Groisman stressed.
