European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič to discuss Russian gas supplies in Kyiv as of Sept 2

As of this year Sept 2, Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič will discuss in Kyiv the Russian gas supplies and reforming of the Ukrainian energy sector, Ukrinform says referring to the European Commission report in Brussels.
«Within his visit to Kyiv on Sept 2, Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič will discuss with the Ukrainian leadership the progress in reforming of the state energy sector, as well as the possibility of resumption of tripartite talks with Russia about the conditions for gas supplies during the winter period,» the report reads.
As to the program of the visit, the Vice-President of European Commission plans to meet with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Paruby, Deputy Prime Minister Minister of Regional Development of Construction and Housing Ghennadiy Zubko as well as Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Igor Nasalyk.
