Zubko: German Gov ready to co-finance Energy Efficiency Fund

The German government is ready to co-fund the Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Fund and to provide advisory expert assistance in the process of its establishment, Government Portal says referring to the
Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Ghennadiy Zubko Facebook report made following his meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Ernst Wolfgang Reichel.
«Germany is a strategic and reliable partner for Ukraine, including in the process of implementation of decentralization and energy efficiency reforms. This fall Ukrainian-German high-level group on economic cooperation apart from holding a business forum plans to open a Ukrainian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry,» Zubko writes.
Besides, Zubko also adds that within the meeting the parties had paid peculiar attention to the enormous work by GIZ, which is the project coordinator in Ukraine of the U-LEAD project to support the decentralization reform.
