Groisman: Government will approve regional development investment projects
11.05.2016 14:08 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of today, while opening a Cabinet meeting, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said the Government should adopt a list of investment programs and projects of regional development to be financed from the Ukrainian State Regional Development Fund, thus facilitating the regions to settle their urgent problems, Government Portal reports.
«This implies real finance that is allotted to the regions in the framework of the State regional policy to solve a lot of pressing problems. In each region, in each city the problems are different. But at last there exists an absolutely transparent mechanism of funding these projects,» Groisman stressed.
«There is sufficient number of such objects - hospitals, schools, roads, reconstruction objects, energy efficiency facilities throughout Ukraine. Now it is time to trigger this activity. We must approve the list of such objects to align with laws and to enable local authorities to embark on implementation of these projects,» he said.
