President in Lviv region: Opening of Fujikura Automotive Ukraine Lviv LLC is a powerful signal for investors

As of yesterday, while making a working trip to Lviv region, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko took part in the ceremony of opening the Fujikura Automotive Ukraine Lviv LLC, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the President reminded about his meeting and agreements with CEO of Fujikura Jorge Garcia, which resulted into the opening of a new enterprise in Lviv region.
«In the course of the official visit to Japan, I really enjoyed the speech of Fujikura leaders who stated that in any country of the world they did not have so much comfort launching business like in Ukraine, Lviv region,» the President emphasized.
«Let this event be a powerful signal for all potential investors willing to believe in our country,» Poroshenko said and added that 550 new jobs created by the company were only the first stage.
As to the report, Poroshenko reminded the arrangements reached within his recent official visit to Japan and noted that despite the remoteness of Japan, this country «is one of the biggest and most reliable strategic partners».
As to Poroshenko, the Japanese help to Ukraine equals almost US$ 1.9 milliard.
As to the President, after the signing of the Agreement on Association and DCFTA, «we can fully use a unique productive, economic and human potential of Ukraine in order to ensure the best positions for investors». Thus, the President expects the boost of the volume of foreign direct investment in Ukraine.
As to the report, the President expressed gratitude to the Lviv RSA Head Oleg Syniutka for his efforts aimed at creating conditions «for a powerful investor to stay and boost its investment into the Lviv region».
The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi.
