Poroshenko: Crisis should not stop European integration

As of today, while speaking within the meeting with the Euromaidan activists, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said the parliamentary-governmental crisis should not hinder Ukrainian movement towards the European Union, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, Poroshenko also informed about his address to the Parliament with a call for the adoption of the visa-free laws in the wording that meets the EU demands this evening.
«The crisis should not stop the process that required so many efforts. Ukrainians should gain another degree of freedom. They should have a right to travel worldwide freely. New Ukrainian biometric passport must be respected,» Poroshenko said.
As to the report, the Head of State emphasized that those visa-free laws were essential «for the establishment of European rules of fighting against corruption inside the country».
«I am hopeful that MPs will hear the Ukrainian people, hear the President and we will get the respective decision by the Parliament this evening,» the President noted.
