Agrarians have sown soybeans at 612,000 ha instead of earlier planned 571,000 ha

As of May 29, agrarians have sown soybeans at 612,200 ha (instead of previously planned 570,900 ha), reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy press-service.
As to press-service, within last 2 days agrarians have sown soybeans at 5,400 ha.
Reportedly, as of May 17, soybeans had been sown at 505,000 ha (of planned 570,900 ha).
As earlier reported, 2005 soybeans crop had grown to 613,000 MT (in terms of weight after additional processing), up 250,000 MT (+ 68.9%) against 2004 (with agricultural companies having had produced 517,500 MT, up against 343,600 MT in 2004).
As to State Statistics Committee, in 2005 soybeans were harvested at 421,700 ha (up as of 256,300 ha in 2004); 2005 soybeans average yield equaled to 14,5 metric centners per ha (up against 14,2 metric centners per ha in 2004).
