President at NABU meeting: Networking will not protect corrupt officials

As of yesterday, while speaking within the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine) Board meeting, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko emphasized that nobody would avoid punishment for corruption, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the President emphasized the importance of NABU’s independence from other institutions for its efficiency, speed and secrecy.
«Nobody is safe from the Bureau’s attention and any networking will not provide indulgence or protection,» Poroshenko said.
As to Poroshenko, the NABU has special ops troops, analysts and detectives. They have all the necessary functions to demonstrate the efficiency of the Ukrainian struggle against corruption to the entire world.
«Within the first days, the first weeks of their work they proved that the NABU has no closed spheres or untouchables,» he said.
As to the report, the President wished the newly appointed staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Special Operations Department a successful struggle against corruption, which is the greatest evil that hinders the Ukrainian advancement.
